Mumbai really is the Hollywood of India. It feels prosperous and poor both at the same time. Film dominates the city and it is small compared to the other sprawling cities we visited. We walked basically across the city proper in a day.
We stayed in the extremely beautiful Taj Mahal Palace and Towers. Thank you mom and dad for helping us get the upgrade to a beautiful room in the old Palace part of the hotel. We will post as many pictures as we can of the hotel and our time in Mumbai.
The Hanging Gardens
Its hard to think about what recently happened at the hotel we stayed at on our honeymoon. It was a beautiful place (and hopefully will be again soon). All of India was warm and welcoming while we were there. Our thoughts are with the all the people of India and anyone who was impacted by the attacks on 11/26/08.
